Holding On’s first LP – “Just Another Day” came out in 2001, which was also the year when I moved to Minneapolis to go to college, it was a special time for me, and a special time in hardcore and I had a lot of fun going to see Holding On many times at venues like the Babylon, basements and even houses in Wisconsin! They always put on a great show and were one of those bands that brought all kinds of kids together. There hasn’t been a good hardcore band like Holding On in the Twin Cities since then. It’s the truth. I know hipsters and hippies that this town is chock full of will laugh at me for saying this but that’s expected.
I think their first LP is my favorite record of theirs, and here Pete who played guitar in Holding On (sector.7g)
has the green vinyl (which was also one of the first records I bought when I moved here):
