Speaking of starting your day with laughter, think about this: Tre in vampire make up. Ok, so I don’t know if he ever did don the white face paint for an Ink & Dagger set, but I like to think he did (and I also like to think someone has pictures of it somewhere), and I also like his descriptions for each of his I&D auctions…

The deal with this one here is, the band had a bunch of 7″s left over, no covers, no labels, and I joked that I was going to get one and just write “test press” on it, and I would have a test press. This made Robby Redcheeks (Dead By 23, Damage, etc) very angry. At the time, he was trying to get each band member’s personalized test press, and essentially said, “Well, if I have a record that says test press… it’s a test press too, just like yours!” To make matters worse, I had this conversation in front of (I believe) Dave, the drummer, who thought this was just hilarious, and in front of Robby, wrote “test press” on the label, and handed me the record and said, “Here, have a test press” We laughed, and Robby stormed off.

I don’t have some cool story about this I&D 7″

I am pretty sure that this originally said “out of 11″ but he wrote over that with “TRE out of 1″
Tre being me, and out of 1 being because I was not able to attend this show due to work. I believe I put our friendship on the line and said, “If you don’t save me one of these, you and I aren’t friends.”
So as an added bonus this is also the “Tre is a b*tch pressing!”

He said it, I didn’t. To be fair though, 10% of the final sale price on these auctions goes to the MSPCA, so that does drop the bitchness a degree or several.
