I loved Mucky Pup back in the day, but I have to admit that a lot of their stuff doesnt hold up as well as I wish it would. I guess there was just a time for crossover metal/punk/hardcore/funk/electronica and 2010 is not that time.

I still listen to ‘Boy in a Mans World’ and ‘Now’ sometimes, but ‘Cant You Take a Joke’ is the one that has held up the best. Probably because it was ‘pre-funk’.

They are still a great band and they have another reunion show coming up November 24th in New Jersey that I would love to see. Maybe I can plan a road trip! If you check out their site they also have a few awesome parody shirts. One of the Danzig skull, one of the Motorhead logo and they still have the classic Mucky ‘Nike’ shirt!

Heres their first LP ‘Cant You Take a Joke’ on Torrid Records. They actually got signed to Torrid by a guy that saw them opening for Trixter! And the other auction is for the ‘Billy & The Boingers’ flexi disc which was included in a Bloom County comic strip collection after Mucky Pup won a song writing contest with their biggest hit ‘U Stink but I Love U’.
