This is the last one for this weeks Test Press Tuesday, and since it’s a Napalm Death test, it’s only fair that it goes out to DFJ and Ian.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Stand Accused should still be a band. Mentioning Ian, DFJ, and Napalm Death in the same breath always reminds me of that.

Here we have a test press of the epic ‘Never Mind the Napalm… Heres the Sore Throat’ LP. Its an awesome record and having a test press of it would be cool. I’m just not sure on the seller and maybe someone that knows can comment.

mattsvinyl seems to have an awful lot of test presses with white lables that have very similar hand writing explaing what they are on them. It just seems a little fishy, but I dont want to slander the guy because I’m not sure. Not all his test presses for sale (there are over 90 of them!) have the same writing, but a lot seem to. Anyone got any info??

A few years ago I was on a trip with Slapshot and one of the shows was in Spain. It was a huge all day show on a beautiful beach and it was going to be an awesome day! We had a flight from Italy to Spain and then a ride to the hotel/show location and it was about 90 degrees and sunny… awesome beach day! We ate some food on the beach and then decided to make the 3 block walk back to the hotel to rest for a while. About 1/2 way back to the hotel it got really dark really fast and it started to downpour! It continued to rain ALL day and ALL night. The show was basically canceled when at the last minute they found a community center type place to let the 2 headlining bands play… Slapshot and Napalm Death! I think it was after midnight by the time we got to the place the show was going on and Slapshot played shortly after that. Unfortunately we couldnt stay to see Napalm Death because we had a flight to catch, but it was still quite an adventure!

I love the cover art on this 7″ and its a really good version of the song too.

I always liked the packaging on this, but find the ‘arm band’ disappointing since the ones I’ve seen have been far to short to fit around most peoples arms!
