More and more and more La Dispute

Another big batch of records here from Chris at No Sleep. I know the standard flavor here at Vinylnoize is usually pretty “youth crew” and what have you, but I have to put some attention on bands like La Dispute. I dunno if you’ve heard their new record Wildlife, but it’s fantastic. Definitely turned me from casual listener, to actual fan. I am sure it will be on my top 10 of 2011. Speaking of Wildlife, there’s a copy of the No Sleep Subscription Series version here. Like the others in the series, this version is limited to only 30.

Next up are a couple copies of La Dispute’s 2008 2 x LP “Somewhere at the Bottom of the River Between Vega and Altair.” First up is a test press limited to 20. And an awesome looking preorder version limited to 100 with a silk screened D side.

Next are a couple copies of the La Dispute / Koji split 12″, a test press limited to 20, and a Subscription Series edition limited to 30.

And lastly, this test press of the C/D side of the La Dispute “Somewhere…” 2 x LP. I like the odds and ends. I am sure that everyone who does a label has stuff like this laying around with no idea what to do with it. “Who’s gonna want HALF a test press to a double LP?” Well, there’s someone I am sure! This one is limited to 4. Super rare!!!

Touche Amore / La Dispute splitseveninchesorama

Got three more from Chris No Sleep here. I posted about the couple of Touche Amore / La Dispute test presses he has up earlier, and now it’s three different versions of it. The packaging on these records is crazy. A long fold out, die cut masterpiece by Nick from Touche. So sweet.

First up is a first press on Black/Biege out of 500. Kind of an ugly color for such a pretty record.

Now this color looks a lot nicer. Gold/Black mix, also first pressing and out of 500 copies.

And the 2010 Sound And Fury edition out of 75 copies on black vinyl.

We got a couple more from Chris from No Sleep here that I think will do real well, and just in time for Test Press Thursday! And once again, sideways photo. What a lazy ass dude. I think he needs more coffee. First up is the first pressing test press of the Touche Amore / La Dispute split 7″ limited to 25. This does come with a pretty cover. I wonder if that’s why this one, limited to 25, is going for more than the 2nd press below that is limited to only 4?

And here is the that 2nd press test press limited to 4. Looks like he moved over to Erika Records for this. Being out in Southern California makes things so easy when you are doing a label… you can just drive and pick stuff up. AND you have a choice of local plants. Lucky bastards!

It’s a Touche Amore 7″ twofer

Got a couple more from my man Chris No Sleep. This time it’s a couple copies of the first 7″ from Touche Amore. First up is a copy from the No Sleep 2011 Subscription Series. Limited to 35 with this cover, if you didn’t sign up for the subscription you won’t be finding this elsewhere… except of course from other dudes selling it on ebay. But out of 35? Sweet.
