A couple of years ago at the WFMU record fair in NYC, I was flipping through a dealer’s 45 box before the show started. Nothing too exciting, but I did manage to pull a very nice copy of The Features’ Floozie Of The Neighborhood 45 out for $75 and an EPMD Strictly Business 45 for $5. Decent scores but not mind blowing. A few minutes later, my friend comes walking away from the same table with a sleeveless 7″ with pink labels and a $15 price tag, which apparently I had flipped by. Much to my dismay it was The Nothing’s Uniformz single, albeit without a picture sleeve, but still a monstrous score for $15.

These guys started out in CT and soon moved to NYC and released this heavy duty slab ‘o punk filth around 1979. Thirty years later, it’s one of punk’s rarer artifacts, though the hefty price tag far outweighs its rarity.
