Tags Matching: Noxagt

I’m not sure how many people are familiar with this band, but damn they are good! I was introduced to them by some people a few years ago and was really surprised that I liked it as much as I did because I generally get bored with all instrumental stuff. I got to see them live at a mill called Redrum in Onleyville, RI and they were awesome!!

They are a 3 piece ‘rock’ band from Norway that oddly enough has multiple releases on Load Records which is based out of Providence, RI! You could probably compare Noxagt to Lightning Bolt or The Melvins, but they are generally credited as having a bass player, drummer & viola player allthough I’m pretty sure he was playing a regular guitar when I saw them.

If anyone here knows what the word NOXAGT means, where the name comes from or even just how to correctly pronounce it let me know!
