As my first post on Vinyl Noize, I decided to post none other than one of the most classic hardcore record, both aesthetically and musically. A record that should be a staple in all straight edge and non-edgers record collections all over the world. The Judge New York Crew E.P. If you are just starting out collecting this is a great get. This particular copy is out of 4000 on Revelation and won’t cost you as much as an orange colored vinyl copy, or the first release of this e.p. on the infamous Schism Records. But still a must have. Another classic pair from xryanloaizax…

…let us all just take a moment to imagine the absolute pandemonium that would have ensued had Mike Judge came down from the balcony and sang NY Crew with GB at this year’s Superbowl of HC/BNB Bowl. Probably for the best that he didn’t and all, but I get chills.

Couple more records from seller apie666, whose auctions pretty much covered all of my Monday postings these week. Both of these are examples of what I consider to be well done rip off covers; the attention to detail on the Foundation NY Crew rip especially is superb. I also like how the Hands Tied Project X rip looks like a faded record cover, tho I suspect that is less deliberate and more just a lucky choice of paper/color.

Just a fun pairing of Judge’s NY Crew ep with Gorilla Biscuits s/t ep before I hit the sack, courtesy of sellers crrussum and just.one.more.deck. Mayhap the GB is a bit high for anyone to snatch up, but I still think this is a good pairing. Maybe we’ll see a version of this post again sometime, just with a more accessible price tag. I’ll keep my eyes open.

I’m gonna do one last post from xscottbeuryx’s auctions today, but I assure you: it’s a great one.

Told you it was great. So one of these is just a plain old Bringin’ It Down and there’s no Chung King, I don’t give a hoot. Judge = one of the GOAT Straight Edge bands, and it would be well worth your time to try and acquire these for your collection if you don’t have them already. But I’m not telling you anything you don’t already know.

Boston Came Around One Night…

Push came to shove, Boston won.

Shutdown covered that song at a SOIA/TYF gig they opened up at the gym in Clinton MA, and that’s what my then roommate Dayton yelled into the mic when the time came. It was a good laugh, and this is another good auction from cristinad: the classic Schism press of the Judge NY Crew 7 inch. Like she says in the auction, there shouldn’t be anything else you need to ask.
