Thou Shalt Not Spend A Lot For Antidote Records

If you know deep down that buying an original press of the Antidote Thou Shalt Not Kill 7″ is not in the cards for you, but you still want a cool copy of the record, then maybe you might be interested in this Bridge Nine version alcontrast has up right now.

Green was the limited color Bridge Nine pressed for the reissue and is out of 300. If memory serves, this color was available as part of a special pre-order bundle where you got a t-shirt as well. The extra cost didn’t seem to slow anyone down and it sold out pretty quick.
There were another 1700 records pressed on white and red vinyl in the first press. Bridge Nine are now on a second press of clear vinyl, so grabbing a green copy now is pretty much as rare and collectible as you can get without ponying up for an original.

Alright, is it just me or this getting a little out of hand?

Right now there are two separate auctions going on for original first presses of Antidote’s “Thou Shalt Not Kill” 7″. Does anyone remember when these were like, you know, rare? Hell I just bought one last week! I find that kind of crazy since this was regarded as one of the toughest original hardcore records to find in the world. Now they are popping up more frequently than the Bridge Nine repress.

Seller vinylsnmore has an ok looking copy up that ends in just a few hours. There are no bids so far and his opening price is pretty much the maximum he could get considering the condition, so maybe you can sneak in there with a last minute bid. Oh yeah, and it has an unmarked insert as well. Not bad.

malfunction666 has a great looking copy available as well. This one is especially nice since it has an unmarked insert and a very, very clean cover. There is no sign of any yellowing, creasing or curling. Definitely worth keeping an eye on!

and hit that $400 BIN because it is well worth an early copy of OG Antidote with UNcrossed lyric sheet. You should also peep the other auctions from braddoby2012 because the guy is bringing some serious heat to the table this week. I am pretty sure he will get featured here again… and again… and probably again.

The Box Of Hurt and Hate

I had no idea this Agnostic Front limited (1000) box set that firebythesea78 is selling existed! It’s an actual wooden box and it comes with a patch and the albums here are pic disc versions of “Cause For Alarm”, “Liberty and Justice”, and “One Voice”. No “Victim In Pain” though? Bah! It’s super gimmicky to me but if you collect picture discs this should be pretty cool. Anyone know when this thing came out?

VOD: Worst 1990′s cover nominee

I’d like to nominate this first V.O.D. LP as the worst cover art of the 1990′s. If not #1, then in the top 3 for sure. I mean what is this? Some stock art from Photoshop 1.0? Maybe it was stock-art from the pressing plant? Roadrunner could’ve shelled out for better art than that. Good grief. 3 days to go and already some bids on this ugly thing though…

This is the second ironwind66 auction I have put up in the past few days. I figured that people probably don’t see Stimulators records very often, and if you are a big Harley Flanagan collector, you wouldn’t want to live without this. The record dates back to 1980 when I’m sure most of you weren’t born so you couldn’t have bought it then. What a great opportunity to buy it now.
