Even back when I was a super metalhead I was never that big into Helloween, but I had a couple of friends that loved them!
in 1986 a subpar German metal band had gotten a new singer and tried to get RCA records to let them put out a double LP to introduce the new line up to ‘fans’. Obviously the label said NO and Helloween went on to record ‘Keeper of the Seven Keys Part I’ which was released the next year. It wasnt utill another year later that the world was exposed to the sequal ‘Keeper of the Seven Keys part II’. Then that was the last we heard from the Keeper of the Keys until 2005 when Helloween struck back with ‘Keeper of the Seceon Keys: Legacy’, but thats anotehr story entirely.
If you’re into epic dramatic power metal then bada302 wants you to pick up his copies of Seven Keys part I and II which both have cheap BIN prices!
