One of my personal favorites from NY (technically Long Island and not the city), and definitely one of the more under appreciated early NYHC records. Maybe it has something to do with them putting out a lot of bad later records and people losing interest… I don’t know. Anyways, this is a 5-song slab of extremely primitive and hateful hardcore, sharing many of the same qualities of the YDI ep. Allegedly when Tipper Gore was on her PMRC crusade, she included Nihilistics lyrics in her anti-punk writings.

This record has always been a tough one to find, though it was reissued in 1992 on white vinyl (13th Anniversary edition, 10 years later… huh?) I believe there are only 500 of the original self-released press, so throw a bid down while this one’s still cheap ($11 at the moment) and keep your NYHC collection up to snuff.
