Finn BIN’s

Seller smeagol1980 has a lot of good buy-it-now listings up right now, check em out. A couple of nice Finnish HC ragers below…

Propaganda Records was basically the early Touch & Go/Dischord of Finland, releasing a large chunk of the country’s early hardcore records. Appendix’s Huora 7″ is one of the all-time greats — blazing melodic hardcore with the kind of hooks that bands these days just can’t seem to write without sounding pop punk. This is the 2nd cover (group photo) which came after the initial “squat” cover (photo of a building, pictured tiny on the bottom right of this sleeve for some weird reason), but either way the BIN price is the “nice price” since this one typically goes well over $100.

The Bastards Maailma Palaa Ja Kuolee 7″ is one of the earliest release on Propaganda, a 10-song ripper from ’82 that just rolls over you with sheer ferocity. The title of the record translates into “world burns to death”, and you can obviously see where that went. Contrary to the seller’s info, I’m very sure this sleeve is legit (I own the exact same copy), so he may have under priced it a bit as a result. Gold vinyl also seems to pop up least of the three colors (gold, red and blue… supposedly there are black ones but I ain’t ever seen one). Have at it.
