Seller new-rotic has a lot of auctions, but its mostly for stuff I’m not that familiar with which makes this copy of the Protestant LP from Rorschach seem out of place.

RORSCHACH was a band that I got into because of a few friends that were into a lot of poppy punk stuff (Jawbreaker, Green Day, Screeching Weasel) and some crazy stuff like Rorschach & Born Against. At the time I liked some of the pop punk stuff so when they invited me to a show to see Born Against & Rorschach I went along. I assumed that we were seeing some east bay punk bands and was shocked when Rorschach started. As a former (at the time) metal head it took me back to the aggresive metal that I always searched for but yet it had a punk/hardcore edge to it even though it was very technical compared to lots of the other stuff I was listening to.

I had originally written up this post saying it was a test press like the auction says, but I got a heads up from another poster here at VinylNoize (thanks Chris) who recently spoke to Charles about this exact record. Charles said that this is not actually a Test Press and that the entire first press of 750 all have blank labels. The way to identify an actual test press is by the pressing plant labels on them.
