At the gig the other night, I noticed both Josh P and Ben P doing some HEAVY pitting for Step Forward. You know what that tells me? There are no limits. These dudes are dads, career dudes, … old men. And still, STILL they are giving their all. Not only that, they put lots of the younger crew to shame. Hopefully they were taking lessons. Lesson #1 should be, buy this Rampage LP. Listen on repeat. Get it from hogwildrecords now.

Ps. What’s the pressing on this bad boy? I forget, and the Lockin Out page doesn’t have any info for me. What’s up with that?

THIS IS RAAAMPPPAAAGE…

This Rampage video is a repeat offender for me when I’m browsing Youtube core vidz. It even could make my most watched “current” core video of the year. A great cast of characters in the pit, making this surprise set a great treat for all those Rhode Islanders. The set includes hits spanning the entire Rampage catalog from the 7″ to the legendary Limit of Destruction LP.

With this set, a Texas Chaos set, and a Cave Bear cover from Free Spirit every once in a while I feel as though stock is high for Rampage. Seller alliedtrailers has got a Heads in a Vice 7″ on Red Vinyl out of 350. This is Lockin’ Out Records #9 so make sure you check the auction out, I know you all can afford to have an extra Rampage 7″ inch in your collection

Heads In A Vice!

Whoa. What the fuck is this print? I do not recall ever seeing this Rampage Heads In a Vice poster. Not once. How did this slip by me? And how did yo_baby_sup get one and I did not? I have walls that would be blessed to have one of these hanging on it. Also, am I crazy, or did the demos come in full color, much like the print? I’m sure they did some black & white ones too, but I swear mine is a full color sleeve. Hmm. Gotta find it.

I Want A New Rampage Record.

Dear Rampage:

I want a new record. It’s not that I don’t love the demo, or the lp. Because I do (and I love you, Josh P. You are a great human being). But the fact is, even combined, they simply just don’t cover all of my cardio time at the gym. I find that to be completely unacceptable.

Lockin Out Lot

While this auction from everyonerage26 isn’t strictly 100% a Lockin Out Records lot, it’s close enough for gov’t work, as the saying goes. Here’s the kicker, for me at least. Two Crunchtime EPs. One on black and one on green. That’s just good stuff. The only non LOC items are the Dumptruck EPs on Trip Machine Labs. Like I said, close enough. The original demo calls it out, no idea if the soundbite made it to this EP… actually, that’s a good question. Did Greg’s shout out make it on the Trip Machine Labs press?

Lockin Out Lot

Oh man, untriedanduntested is selling a gem of a lot. Seriously. This was my life in the early 2ks. Every weekend felt like a Lockin Out showcase. Rampage – Head In A Vice. Best demo ever? Such good music and awesome lyrics. Throw in some awesome dudes, and you have a wining combination. Look Alive? So good. To this day, he’s still Kenny Look Alive to me. But it’s probably more appropriate to call him “the guy with the teddy bear tees.” Great look. Crunchtime – Ur Moshin. Great team of dudes, lots of weigh lifting talk. Justice S/T? Shut it down. Lion Of Judah? Fuckin hippies… One love! And throw in the Sweet Vision comp and you’ve sealed the deal. But don’t sleep on this color vinyl lot, there are only has a few hours left.
