Gorilla Biscuits – At The Matinee

Seller prepareforbattle has a really nice copy of the Gorilla Biscuits “At The Matinee” 7″ up right now.

The record coincided with, and was sold on, the Gorilla Biscuits 2006 reunion tour. 1000 were pressed, all on grey vinyl. It was originally supposed to be released on Revelation Records, but something happened as the band ended up doing it themselves. It must have been last minute as the vinyl matrix has REV141 etched in.

1000 pressed seems like a lot, but these things just keep getting more and more expensive. With a couple days left, this one is holding steady at a reasonable price. We will see how long that lasts.

If you are Brazilian or Italian, sorry guys you might as well move on. prepareforbattle has no love for your postal systems and would rather sell to the rest of the planet. Better luck next time.

American Nightmare Reunion LPs

905driving-force is from Ontario. Do you think he drove home after the reunion gig and IMMEDIATELY posted up these two auctions? Or do you think he’s staying at a friends house locally, and posted the records from their house? Ridic.

American Nightmare Background Music. Red vinyl. Buy it here.

Give Up The Ghost Down Till We’re Underground. Purple vinyl. Buy it here.

Citizens Attest.

I not only apologize to nuklearwinter for that terrible gag title, but also to the almight DFJ, as I know Citizens Arrest is one of his all time favorites. Actually, he probably won’t mind, seeing as this is an auction for a test press of the 2010 reunion ep and not a Colossus test or something…

Knee Deep In The Ocean Of Hate

I got to see the Gorilla Biscuits a few times when they were originally together and then got to see the show they played in Worcester when they got back together. I enjoyed them every time I saw them back in the day and I think they were really awesome at the reunion show too. I will say that as much as I love Murphys Law, I think they sucked when they opned for GB at the Worcester reunion show. Anyway… my only disappointment about the reunion show I saw was that they didnt have the reunion 7″s for sale! konnektmma was lucky enough to get one, but I was REALLY bummed out and have wanted one ever since, but just dont want to drop the cash on it. Maybe someday….

Ted Leo & The Citizens Arrest!

I just read online that Citizens Arrest is doing a reunion show in December. I remember seeing them in Providence a few times and I’m psyched they are doing a show, but I hope its not just a one off. I dont expect them to be a full time band since Ted Leo has his band The Pharmacists going strong. I just hope they at least come down to Providence (maybe with the Inflatable Children!) and play at Jerkys or Club Hell!

The currently planed reunion show is to have Ted Leo on guitar (he sang on the original demo) and Daryl Kahan from Born Against, singing (he played drums on the demo) along with Patrick Winter, Joseph Martin & Janis Chakars from the original line up.

You can check out Citizens Arrest here…

Gorilla Biscuits – First & Last

anthracite_records must love Civ & the Gorilla Biscuits the way that I love Slapshot because he’s selling a ton of different stuff and its almost all worth checking out.

I picked these two because I thought it was kind of cool to show the first release and the last release by GH, but check his other auctions for a bunch of stuff in between and a bunch of Civ solo stuff as well.

You Booze …

Last week, Josh posted up this slab of wax, but he left out a few great details. So I’m posting it up again. Not only is this coming from the vaults of trashamericanstyle, but it’s literally 1 of 3. The other two are currently owned by crucial Connecticut dudes (but not Kurt). Here’s a tidbit you should know. Follow Through is playing a reunion in August. Yeap, reuniting. I was discussing this reunion over the weekend with a few older CT heads. We were 90% positive that the whole crew had broke edge by this point. One individual suggested they could save time in one of the songs by simply changing the lyrics to “You Booze …” I suggested changing it to “We Booze…” Both are excellent recommendations.

For some reason, I can’t find ANY mention of this reunion gig on the internet. I know I did NOT dream this. I’m pretty sure it’s in August with Death Threat. Am I crazy? How can I not find one flyer or mention of this gig anywhere? Someone help me out. Seriously.

Phew, finally found it. I thought I was losing my mind.
