euclidrecords has a bit of a problem on their hands. This Chain of Strength 7″ has no sleeve with it. It’s just the record. But it’s possible that there is someone out there with just a sleeve, and no record. Wouldn’t that be a match made in heaven? Or maybe your record is scratched or has a skip in it. Well this is the perfect chance to get a replacement without having to buy an extra sleeve. Don’t you just hate extra sleeves?

How NOT To Sell Records Vol. ?
Every once in a while someone here posts about what NOT to do when selling records on eBay. Today I found a GREAT example:
RARE 80S PUNK 7″ EP KBD REV RECORDS W INSERT with BIN: $200
Take a wild guess what this is. I will tell you that it’s a record that usually sells like fresh croissants in the morning. Not for the asking $200 but yeah, it’s something you all want.
I am actually astonished at how modernist65 managed to amass a whooping 6000+ feedbacks with auctions as poorly titled and as unreasonably priced as this one. One would think this is an exception but there are tons of gems in there if you want to waste few minutes to browse through the 3,653 auctions you can find a lot more. I am sure lads at Tee Till Death would have a go at few things there as well, like this or this for example but let’s get back to out mystery auction.
The seller seems to be a very thorough person because he went into trouble of taking 6 very decent photos of the record and the description is very informative but what on earth was he thinking typing this idiotic auction title?

If it were Thursday, I would call it Together Thursday
…and that would just sound stupid, so I am glad it’s Wednesday. Got another one here from Good Ole Gern. Revelation Records number two, the Together comp. 7 inches of classic NYHC with Sick Of It All, Supertouch, Side By Side…and some other bands. Boom. Where “it” all started (after that Warzone 7″ of course…) Looks like I will have to refer back to the supposed Holy Grail of Rev collecting, the rev.txt doc. White inserts, look like the cover is one piece, can’t really tell, but the inserts don’t look like “obvious photocopies” so I guess this is a first press? Sounds good to me. Have at it kiddies!!!
A Chain is only as strong as its greenest link
Another Californian Hardcore classic from statement-of-pride. This time we have the best fake straight edge record that Revelation ever released. And, if we have learned anything from the past, with these stickers included, it’s sure to skyrocket in price! 4+ days left, so get in while the getting is good.
No For An Answer is not metal Monday
While always seeming to garner more attention than it’s big brother, the “A Thought Crusade” LP, this Revelation Records classic never really goes for too too much. Much like the Side By Side 7″, there was no colored version early on, and the only differentiation was by label color (and what side the cover opens on.) This copy here is a first pressing, which is the white label. At press time, it’s hovering around $33, and it probably has a lil more room before it hits top bid. Another rad record from handsomephantom.
The sticker makes all the difference
Yeah know, when I sold my first press Side By Side 7″ I didn’t even get a measly 30 bucks for it. But check out Mr. thedanceofdays over here, already over $50. All because of that stupid sticker. You know it’s just a stupid photocopy on stupid sticker paper right?? It’s not like you’re actually going to stick it on something, like your locker, or your notebook.
Rev Collection staple: Judge on green
Got another classic from baosgarden, this time a Revelation classic. No bulldogs here! Bringin It Down on green out of 712. Plain and simple.
I have never listened to Old Smoke
…and I don’t plan on starting now. But Emil said I should give this record “some love” here on VN. So I am obliging him. “Come on man, you should check it out, it’s actually pretty good, it’s like, Mike Judge doing Neil Young, but like… good.” Look, I got nothing against Neil Young, I don’t think I do at least. And truth be told, I do listen to plenty of chilled out folky stuff these days. But I have to defer back to the judgement of the 21 year old me here, and just say no. Hey, maybe you dig on this, or maybe you are a Rev completist. If you feel it, you feel it. Apparently handsomephantom felt it at one point.
Inside Out of print part two, on blue
Perhaps handsomephantom read my last post on this record, and decided to amp it up some with this sweet blue vinyl version of the Inside Out 7″. Doesn’t really matter. The classics never go out of style. The blue vinyl matches the layout of this record so good. I was surprised there wasn’t more speculation on why the record is currently out of print. Bid hard and so on.
Rev Collection BINs – Chain and Warzone
Though I might feel that becky4500 is asking a little too much for these classic Revelation 7″s doesn’t mean it’s too much for you. I’d probably make an offer first, and try to scoop em for under the asking price.
If you need em, you need em, and there is no harm in sending in a lower offer. Go for it! That’s why the offer button is there.
99¢ Rev collection
Seller crashtestinghappycampers has a lot of records up for 99¢, including this tasty platter. Hopefully I’m not blowing up anyone’s spot, then again I’m sure this will end for a bit more than a buck.
Rev Collection BINs
A couple nice ones here from 23percent. I’ve been buying records off of this guy for years, both on and off ebay (mostly off) and I have to say he’s one of the best sellers out there. Fast and friendly, and always has quality stuff in excellent condition for very fair prices. I’ve never been disappointed with a single thing I’ve bought from him.
So here are a couple of choice Rev pieces — I really love the custom graffiti on the WarZone ep and I’ve never seen that SOIA postcard before either. Great platters from a great seller, so get on it!
GB and COS – Rev collection
A couple of artifacts for your Rev collection courtesy of an unlikely source — Mr. blindalleys is the frontman of a crust supergroup, but instead of revealing his identity I’ll just say that Sweet Pete gave him a pair of pants one time.
Rev Collection – SOIA record store day
Rev Collection – Side By Side
I dont remember if I have silver or white labels back in the states. Kinda want a copy of this with white labels just in case.
