Seller shinx777 is helping to keep me on the REV tip with this copy of Into Another’s Ignauraus LP on white vinyl. This was the second release by the band numbered at 35 on the REV discography. I love gatefold LP’s and this one looks pretty cool. Definitely a vibe heavy band/sound that is worth spending some time with if you are open to that sort of thing.

No Barneys fun fact: Nic the Weasel from Inside Out NY has an Into Another tattoo. It’s the Sun/Star image. Nick was tellin me he was pretty tight with the Bass player Tony Bono (formerly of Whiplash). Nick’s band paid homage to Tony in his recent project called Vigilante Hotel. X Swatch – Tick tock tick tock – Has the edge gone dull?

West coast seller 90feetofperfectionx brings us a different kind of ‘vinyl’ noize than we are used to seeing here. Is the band on this considered vinyl? These things are pretty timeless, like a good edge man, and are always pretty well sought after. I would love to grab one, but I’ve always kinda been of the opinion that if one isn’t handed down to me, then it’s not my time. I have the same opinion of varsity jackets.

euclidrecords has another listing for “10 or more available” COS TTD 2nd press records with no sleeve. This means that you have several options…

a) buy this clean copy at a decent price with no concern of a sleeve missing
b) create your own sleeve
c) perhaps you want to upgrade your existing 2nd press record

BOLD prices on REV Final Pressings

The proud to be straightray has had a number of very worth while records up in recent weeks. In case you haven’t noticed, there has been a huge increase on the going rate of Final Pressing versions of REV releases that originally dropped 10-20 years ago. Ray has got you covered if you’re looking to add this CLEAR yellow/gold edition. Looks mad nice.

On that new REV Collectors forum a dude on there put some charts together detailing going rates (x) over a period of time (y). If you’re holdin any joints or looking to get into the market, come on in, the water’s fine.

Shall be tickled pink

Seller pwktn has a record for us that does no wrong. For the past few years of Hallowe’en I’ve wanted to make paper maché masks as featured on the back of the sleeve.

Who the heck wouldn’t be tickled pink to receive this record. Does Morgodo have this record yet? The colours in this picture are poppin’. I first heard this record in my early 20′s at a record store in Montreal purely because it was on REV. This wasn’t the first time I heard the band though. I had picked up a used copy of the cleanse cd in hikeschool. Kinda funny being exposed to this band through that release. The cover of this ep is so weird. It almost looks like a photo was taken of a 5th generation vhs live set while being played on someone’s tv. I often wonder who the BURN heads are. You gotta understand I come from the Canadian Shield so we don’t really cross paths too often. I’ve always thought that BURN has gotta be for the well versed hc types. Those a bit more schooled, and developed palates of aiche see. The photo insert and design therein, is pretty tight. A very brooding urban setting.

** For those really into HC minutiae I read in a zine a while back that REV 21 & 22 were released on the very same day…imagine that.

Far East Rev collection

Seller ohisamanoheya-san from Japan has a couple Rev color vinyl versions your collection might be missing, and surprisingly they aren’t bid on yet with less than 24 hours to go. I suppose if all else fails you can grab the 2-pack of black vinyl.

Side note: I hate thin plastic inner sleeves but I love those Japanese ones with the rounded bottom, I wish all records came in these things.

Heres another one from delapasion who has a bunch of great records for sale!

JUDGE – ‘The Storm’ on first press gold vinyl. There were 4000 on black and only 1000 on gold. Not exactly Chung King pressing numbers, but still a cool piece of Rev colored vinyl from an amazing band!

There are also two different versions of the insert. On one, the live photo has the lyrics to “The Storm” in the top left corner, the other just has the Judge logo. Unfortunantly, I don’t know if one is a lot more rare than the other.

Think we will ever see a Judge reunion, even if its just for one show?

Looks like it is in great shape compared to most of the ones i’ve seen (mine excluded of course).

*BONUS*

It’s no clear, it’s no green and it’s certainly no aborted press but it’s cooler than a stamped 1st press even though it’s not as rare. After all, it’s just a fucking stamp doodz!

The Holy Grail…

I’m not even sure what to say about this auction… Its pretty clear what it is and pretty much everyone that doesn’t have one wants it. Only thing a little weird is the seller didnt bother to put JUDGE in the auction title.

It looks like its being sold by someone that was in the band, probably Sammy based on the eBay name. Says it used to belong to Skinhead Max, but this copy (#87) is not currently registered on the official Revelation ‘where are they’ list.
