A couple of friends of mine just got the green light & funding to do a documentary on Screeching Weasel. I’m pretty psyched to see it when its done becuase they have worked on some good movie projects already, You Must Be This Tall: The Story of Rocky Point park and Its A Bash: The Neutral Nation Movie. My favorite thing about Screeching Weasel, besides the weasel logo, is that they wrote a song called ‘I wanna be a Homosexual’ as a retort to the Sloppy Seconds song ‘I dont wanna be a Homosexual’ and if that wasnt enough it has the line “Its the straight in straight edge that makes me wanna drink a beer”. Punk… Fucking… Rock!

And here is my favorite Screeching Weasel album Boogadaboogadaboogada. I actually have a leather jacket with the weasel painted on the back of it with a Buzzoven logo above it and a Melvins logo (in the Kiss font) below it. Havent work that jacket in a LONG time but I loved it when I got it!
