Seller medievalsteel from Mexico is unloading what looks to be one hell of a metal collection. I really love Mexican and South American metal so I can’t wait to see what else he digs up. Here are a couple of non-Mex classics though…

I posted Withcfinder General’s first 45 the other day, and here’s the companion 12″, Soviet Invasion. The two are comped together in the reissue package I also posted below. Soviet Invasion is just a 3-song 12″, but all three tracks are pretty classic and this record is the toughest of the three WFG 12″s to find.

Here’s another doom/stoner metal classic, Saint Vitus’ eponymous first LP. I don’t know what the general consensus is these days, but I prefer Scott Reagers’ vocals to Wino’s later singing (though Wino certainly ain’t no slouch on the mic). This record is nearly impossible to find with a nice cover due to the silver printing scratching very easy, but this one looks relatively clean and it has the elusive inner lyric sleeve. For some reason SST just re-released every Vitus LP except this one, so get on it.
