Just some mid-day miscellany from Mister Milloinaire himself, aka Tre:

Methinks SOMEONE has been seeing how well all the SOIA record release versions we’ve had up have been doing… or he just needs to raise money for a sweet lil’ dog who just had surgery.

And finally, we close with some wisdom from the seller himself, regarding this Rorschach/Neanderthal split:

I know that this 7″ being sold by brian138bush is a bootleg since the only official Seige releases are the original 6 song demo tape and the 3 songs on the ‘Cleanse the Bacteria’ comp, but it still looks like a cool record. I’ve been a fan of Seige for a long time, but was just listening to them again the other day and damn their good!

Anyway this 7″ ends in less than a day and its pretty cheap so check it out.

Another nice one from robase, a long time want list topper…

This comp is basically the who’s who of international 80s hardcore — Poison Idea, Mob 47, Siege, The Execute, 7 Seconds and so many more. Almost too many though, as this record runs like 60 minutes total and sounds a little thin as a result. But who cares, when it has the only properly released Siege tracks, a trio of absolute paint peelers. The bonus 12″ adds some extra songs by some of the bands, including my all time favorite COC song, “Prayer”.

Supposedly there are 1000 copies on orange with the bonus 12″ (which is exclusive to the orange press). That number seems a little high, as they don’t turn up much, but who knows. It’s too bad this will never be reissued.

Semi-legit pressing of Siege’s demo tape, long before the cheesy string of cash-in LPs on Deep Six (seriously, when’s the 4th press coming out with “new” tracks?)

This was released by Off The Disk in Switzerland, who also did the first Infest LP, first Morbid Angel 7″, etc etc. Supposedly it was band authorized, but I believe there was some controversy when it was released. Some sources claim only 20 were pressed on red, but I’ve seen a few too many for that to be believable. Either way, this thing rarely turns up so don’t miss it.

Trivia department: Erich from OTD once said that the stamp used on the labels of this record was also used to stamp tickets to the first ever Celtic Frost show.

Siege rules…. I posted this record not long ago so I wont go on and on about it again, but its great and you should own it! I dont know what the numbers are on the yellow vinyl, but this is from the 2006 repress so it has all the comp tracks on it.

thevonroyale also has a lot of other highend stuff for sale so I’m sure that the prices are somewhat inflated, but hes got ‘best offer’ options so shoot him a lowball offer and maybe he will come back with a good price in the middle somewhere.

One of Bostons most underrated bands. There is definitly not enough talk about Siege. They didnt fit the mold of Boston hardcore back in the day or today, but they were totally badass and I would go see a reunion show (preferable with Kevin Mahoney on vocals and not Seth Putnam) in a heart beat!

we dont see that much SIEGE stuff pop up because there really isnt that much SIEGE stuff out there. This is a test press of the SIEGE 12″ that Deep Six Records put out, but I’m not sure if its the 2004 version or the 2006 version. They added 2 more songs to the 2006 pressing. Either way its not from the short lived reunion line up that featured Seth Putman from AC on vocals.

As an added bonus this copy is signed by Kevin Mahoney & Rob Williams.

Definitly a rare piece of vinyl from a band that managed to influence TONS of band and all sorts of genres in a really short period of actual active playing time.
