Test Press Tuesday: For Friends Of Floorpunch.

I dunno WHO xbestoneyetx could POSSIBLY be, or who they could POSSIBLY be selling records for, but doesn’t it always seem like they have the ill Floorpunch goods? In this case, it’s the recent discography 2 lp from some label called Six Feet Under Records. One is the band/friends only press out of 95 on blue (still sealed), and the other, conveniently enough for the day of the week, is a test press…

Bitter End LP Test Press … I Think?

Jesus, Dave is on a tear. This guy doesn’t stop. He’s gracing Test Press Thursday with this great Bitter End Climate Of Fear test press. But here’s the thing. Is this REALLY a test press? He listed it as such, but he goes into more details, “2nd pressing on black vinyl out of 13. I didnt order any black vinyl but i got 13 of them when the records showed up.” Either way, it’s flipping rare.

Update: oh shit, he fixed it. So I’ll fix this post too… This auction IS for the test press. If you want the rare black vinyl, 2nd press version, go here.

Make sure to check out the rest of the great items from sixfeetunderrecords as all the proceeds go straight back into the label. Support!

The nu Cold World / War Hungry split for test press Tuesday

So in the ongoing saga that is the official Six Feet Under Records fundraising event, we present to you this wonderful specimen. This is a test press of the newly remastered Cold World / War Hungry split 7″. Make sure and check out this, and all of the other auctions Dave has up now. Some real hot fire going on over there!

Very far from clever

Seller joelf1234 has a bit of a misleading title here with that /25. When I got these bootlegs in the mail I had some mixed emotions going on. On the one hand I generally dont like bootlegs, theyre usually poorly done, sound like shit and arent worth the money. On the other hand this is a record I put out so Im kind of honored in a way? Plus its a record that (at the time) was still for sale so its a little more ridiculous. Italians will bootleg anything I guess. If this record isnt repressed soon it will probably end up bootlegged again too.

Will Test Press Tuesday Be A Let Down?

After last weeks underwhelming Test Press Tuesday, I wouldn’t blame you for wondering if this weeks was going to be a let down (tho really, last week was only a let down in terms of quantity, and certainly not quality). So how’s this week gonna go? Hard to say. I’ve got several posts ready to go up through out the day right now, including this Let Down test press being sold by xxxevilxxx666, and I think a lot of it is pretty rad stuff. We’ll see what else I can find this afternoon…

Mental Lot Redo.

It seems that seller everyonerage26 has been forced to relist his Mental lot that sold last week, as it’s back again and currently unbid upon after 3 days. Wonder what happened there. There’s also a slightly smaller lot from 358lucky looking for some action…

Test Press Thursday?!

Well, we were promised Floorpunch rarities from a legitimate source (that being Porter), and once again, that promise has been lived up to…

If only xbestoneyetx had gotten this up a day or two sooner; this could have been the cornerstone of this weeks Test Press Tuesday. Fortunately, today is Thursday, so we can still go with the fancy title. This one is a test of the double lp FP discography our friends at Six Feet Under Record recently released. Out of /16. Bust!

Project Test II.

What, did everyone at Deathwish HQ get a care package from Bridge 9 with a Project X repress test press in it? First Tre sold his, now Dave from Six Feet Under Records is selling his. Unlike ol Moneybags Tre however, who was probably motivated by simple greed, Dave is selling his to raise money for upcoming SFU releases…

Go Time For Test Press Tuesday.

With a couple exceptions, this weeks Test Press Tuesday will be brought to you almost exclusively by the good folks at Six Feet Under Records, along with several appropriate accompanying auctions. Case in point, this Go Time test press, with accompanying record release and limited mail/pre-order versions…

That last one forces me to post this unrelated SFU auction for the Gorilla Biscuits “At The Matinee” 7 inch…

Worst. Record. Ever. I’m sorry, I know I’m supposed to be singing the praises of the records being sold to help out Dave and support future SFU releases, but this thing is seriously horrid. It might as well be an outtake from CIV’s Thirteen Day Getaway. I love the s/t GB 7 inch, and the first CIV record is tops, but this… this one’s for the serious GB collector only, that’s all I can say.

Bust Your No Warning Nut

No Warning hit the scene hard in the early 2ks. They blasted out of Canada and blew minds in the US. Canada already loved them, America was just playing catch ip. Dave at sixfeetunderrecords is selling enough No Warning wax to satisfy any collectors needs. The only EP he seems to be missing is the Summer 2001 tour and a test press. Plenty of other goodies from Martyr Records, though.

Black vinyl.

Purple out of 100.

White vinyl. Out of 200.

Underdog Tour press out of 150. This was for a weekend in August.

And how about this one from Bridge 9? Ill Blood, yo. Blood And Shit. Not nearly as cool as the PB&J, but still, dope. Limited to 350.

True Colors – Rush Of Hope

Rush Of Hope. Great little LP out of Europe, via Salem, Mass. This one dropped on Six Feet Under Records and was limited to just 10. I always enjoyed True Colors, and it seemed most of America did too. Probably not as much as the rest of Europe, but that’s how it goes sometimes. Weak. Grab this test press from live_hard. Odd that the Six Feet Under Records discography page doesn’t have a picture of this test press, or even mention it. Weird? But you can grab the red vinyl version from SFU. Do it.

Title Fight Kingston EP Deluxe

I love this EP. Title Fight are kings, and I’m sure I’m not the only one eagerly awaiting the next release. It’s coming soon, I know it is. This EP from gslota is a great one. It really goes above and beyond in the packaging department (of course, you know the music is above and beyond). This one features an actual Polaroid photo attached to the record sleeve. Limited to 88. I’m surprised how cheap it still is. Normally this one spikes. First press and all. Big fan of Dave’s attention to detail when it comes to proper pressing info. That’s a lot of details.

Pegasus

You ever search ebay for something and find a ton of crap you don’t want? Yeah, I’m sure it happens all the time to you. It certainly happens to me frequently. Take the band Pegasus. Go ahead, click on that previous link. That’s EVERY mention of Pegasus on ebay. As of this posting, that’s nearly TWELVE THOUSAND items to sift through. That’s no good for anyone. Thank god for categories, right? When you narrow it down to the music category, you do a little better, Pegasus (Music). But you still get 70 items. Still a lot. And I’m guessing most of you don’t care about Black Pegasus or Philwit & Pegasus. But hey, maybe you are. Luckily, darksideca was smart and used the category and keywords to his advantage. Smart move. That got me to what I was looking for, the Pegasus EP from Six Feet Under Records. The label currently has the 2nd pressing of the EP available. I suggest you GO BUY IT NOW. But go ahead and grab this first press too. First press, hand screened cover, limited to 215. You probably aren’t going to find too many of these floating around.

Defiant

Dave has some sick records ending tonight. Seriously, did you look? Everything from Bitter End test press, Title Fight polaroid cover EP to a Rival Mob test press — seriously ridiculous stuff. He’s opened the vault in order to fund new releases. I can dig that.

I can also dig these great records from Reign Supreme. Big fan of these dudes. Some super heavy riffs and great mosh. Grab the test press for this gem. And if that gets too deep, go ahead and grab the screened sleeve. 2007 style.

The SFU Vault Is Open…

That’s right, Dave has opened the sixfeetunderrecords vault and is selling a whole lot of rarities and test presses to finance upcoming SFU releases.

The track record speaks for itself. Supporting SFU = supporting more good releases. So go bid!
