One of the first oi records anyone ever told me to listen to was this one. Two classic bands from the era, and this record was re-released a bunch of times on various labels. This auction is for the original Link Records release. You may know Link Records from the background image of this site. This record was going for more than $30 over a decade ago when eBay first launched, so it’s a real bargain at this price. Big hard boot boys.

An American Skinhead’s Chung King equivalent
It looks like surf80 is selling a real gem, and their is only a day left on it. Skinheads will never be known as the upper echelon of record collectors, but for those that do collect, they go after this. Well as far as American bands go anyway. And 7″s.
Limited to only 444, blank labels, wide hole.
LOCKJAW Dead Friends 7″++
A while back I posted the first Lockjaw ep, and here’s the second. Musically this sounds pretty much exactly like the first ep, and imo this one’s harder to find, so jump on this if you’re a fan. Skinhead hardcore at its finest!
Also from the same seller is the Drinking Is Great 7″ comp, with tracks by Poison Idea, Lockjaw, E-13 and Final Warning. Aside from Poison Idea, this comp is the only other material released on vinyl by these bands. I’ve posted records by all of those bands before, so if you’re unfamiliar, click the Fatal Erection tag below.
These and a bunch of other good records are being sold by my man Mitch SXE, Japanese tour promoter extraordinaire and the first guy I ever traded records with in Japan.
LOCKJAW – Shock Value 7″
First of two 7″s by Portland, OR’s “most hated band.” Musically, they were basically PDX’s answer to Agnostic Front—hard ‘n fast skinhead hardcore, often maligned over their potential politics (or lack there of). They had another 7″ after this one called Dead Friends, and a track on Fatal Erection’s Drinking Is Great 7″ comp. There’s also an unreleased LP, which was collected along with their vinyl output on CD by Grand Theft Audio.
500 made of this guy back in ’82 (when the Cowboys were strong), with rumors of copies being smashed by local stores who accused the band of being nazis. There are also 50 alternate sleeves with convicted serial killer Ted Bundy on the cover, but I think those were made after the fact. As mentioned in an earlier post here, I passed up this and their other ep once in ’97 or so for $10 each, in lieu of buying a 2nd press Turning Point 7″. I did end up getting both records at once a few years back, but the price was not nearly as nice.
Crucial Yule
Im not a huge fan of joke records but I do have a couple exceptions. Straight Youth and this record are some of them. How do you not want to hear about Xmas time for the Skins? I love the “digital” font that Crucuial Youth Always uses. Good cover art. Xmas colorway. This record looks good in your collection
