DEATH PIGGY was the band that Dave Brockie sang for (and played bass) before he became the alien monster scumdog from the universe that we all know as Oderus Urungus. I believe that Death Piggy practiced in the same Richmond, VA warehouse building that ‘Slave Pit Enterprises’ were creating their art in. The musicians & artists eventually got together and formed the ultimate heavy metal musical performance art… GWAR!

Dave Brockie can also be seen playing bass with the X-COPS as Patrolman Cobb Knobbler and as himself with The Dave Brockie Experience and in the documentary American Hardcore.

Semi-Related Fun Fact: my ‘senior quote’ in my highschool year book was actually an Oderus Urungus quote from their ‘Live in Antarctica’ VHS tape. The quote was: “You humans… You’re not a bad lot really… As long as you know your place.. and that place is on your knees… digging your own grave… with the bridge of your nose” the actual quote ends with “and my dick up your butt” but I was pretty sure they wouldnt print that in the year book so I left it out!
