I am confused. I was searching for some sweet AN records, and this came up. This is a Blacklisted record. Sure, George loves AN, but why is this coming up in my search results? I just want that sweet reunion show exclusive color. But this… Oooooohhhh. I get it now! Hardcore-death has put “American Nightmare” in the title so that people looking for that AN vinyl will see this! Holy crap! What a mean trick! But hey, since you are here, this is the special cover they made for Sound And Fury. There’s only 85 of them, so maybe you should get in early, as there’s no bids yet!

Talking Lots of Trash
Someone in Trash Talk must have slept with redjglue’s girlfriend. How else could you explain this mass sell off? Seriously, some gems up in here.
And this one is “marble.” So says the sticker on the sleeve. But it looks like white to the seller. He suggestion is worth an LOL.

Sound And Fury press. This should be interesting. Dig deep, folks.

So can we blame Lee or what?

It’s the Sound and Rain Tour pressing edition Fest?
I posted about redjglue’s Touche Amore record earlier today, and that thing has skyrocketed up there already, so I figured I would shine a light on the other LTD ED’s* that redjglue has up right now. First up is the Title Fight “The Last Thing You Forget” 7″ from Sound And Fury 2009 that was limited to only 50 copies. Sweet Warzone / Cali homage, Don’t Forget The Struggle, Don’t Forget The Beach? Classic!
Next up is my personal favorite. A tour edition of the self titled Tigers Jaw LP, also on Run For Cover. This one is out of a total of 100 LPs. Hope that was a short tour.
And lastly, the new shit, a Rainfest edition of the Rotting Out “Street Prowl” LP from 6131. This one is also out of only 100.
Touche Amore Sound and Fury edition
When I saw Touche Amore at Sound And Fury 2009 I was blown away. They put on a rad show, and kids went bonkers. I met the dudes that day as well, and they were super nice. And then we went on to, like, put out their next record and stuff. I assume that redjglue there, and got this. Maybe he was up front losing his mind screaming along? I love this cover, very serious. Serious rainbow action.
Oh, I See How It’s Going To Be …
I like to look out for my friends. Whether it’s at a fest or a record release gig, if I know my friend is looking for a limited record, I’ll pick it up for them. That’s the kind of guy I am. And no, I’m not talking about my friend Ed Bay. I’m talking about REAL people. People I hang with, people I send texts to discussing life, people I REALLY know. So don’t get any ideas I’ll do this for any dude out there. This is what I do for my friends. And then what does my friend xtommydreamerx do? Why, he sells this Sound And Fury 2010 EP from The Rival Mob. That’s right. I sweated blood and tears to get that record from Sam … Ok, not really. When I walked up to Sam at SAF10 and purchased 3 copies of every limited EP he was selling, there was no line. I even got some sun glasses out of the deal. Pretty stoked until I lost them a few weeks back. Bummed. I kept a copy, Tom got a few (you’ll notice he’s not selling the Bane SAF10 EP …) and one for Naidoo. That’s how I roll.
Don’t worry, Tom, you know I’m just giving you a hard time. He’s selling lots of good stuff to fund his wedding. I suggest you all bid this up so he doesn’t have to hold the reception at Club Hell or The Living Room.
Welcome To California!
I’m in California. Are you in California? It’s the place to be this weekend. Hang out at the TTD/VNZ/Noize table if you have a minute. Otherwise, have a gander at this EP from friedchickenhead. This is the In My Eyes Demo EP with the Welcome To California sleeve. Here’s the weird part. I have one of these. Mine is number 50/50. Odd part. Mine is clear vinyl with a red slip cover and the regular sleeve. This one is clearly blue vinyl with a yellow sleeve, and no sign of the regular sleeve. What’s up with that? Can we get AP to weigh in on this one?
Bands I Look Forward To Seeing At Sound And Fury 2011: Not Sorry
Not Sorry is from the northwest. You know what that means — they don’t make it out to the northeast that often. Or ever. I can’t recall ever having seen them come this way (cut to someone calling me out because they were just here … or something like that). And you know I would remember if a crew of vegan/veg, straight edge dudes rolled through. This demo dropped WAY back in 2009. Crazy. Solid NW Hardcore vibe (not No Warning but North West). Grab this one from cut_down. And check out their releases on React Records.
A Band I Look Forward To Seeing At Sound And Fury 2011: Minority Unit
I happened to catch Minority Unit, in passing, at United Blood. I had never seen them, never even heard of them. Boy, I’m glad I looked on. Solid California Straight Edge vibe. Not Strife, more like Insted with mosh. I was into it. You know I’ll be paying close attention this year at Sound And Fury. It’s just a week away. Have you bought your tickets yet? Grab this demo tape from xruinerx2541.
More MOM.
Seller zero1152 also brings us a set of Mother of Mercy auctions, all variations of the No Eden ep. 2 Sound And Fury covers, the yellow vinyl out of /100, and of course a test press for Test Press Tuesday. Isn’t this like the 4th or 5th time we’ve seen a MOM test press on the ‘bay? I do love the cover for this one though, very cool looking, and I dig it when bands/labels actually take the time to make covers for their tests.
Bad Seed Tests and Rarities.
Seller soulvice88 is auctioning off his entire Bad Seed collection. Lots of colored vinyl, a couple fest presses (as seen below), and if you think there isn’t a test press, you’re sadly mistaken. It’s Test Press Tuesday, if there wasn’t a test press up you’d wouldn’t be seeing these until Wednesday.
Clearly, Rifkin was in charge of artwork on these. Heh.
Why So Serious?
Why So Serious? … Good question. I always like that I Rise had fun, took chances and just loved playing. I booked a show about a million years ago at the QVCC in Worcester. It had way too many bands for a cold night in January or February, but I said, Fuck It. I wanted all my friends to be able to play. Sadly because it was so cold and dreary, members of Have Heart weren’t feeling well. They weren’t going to be able to play a full set. I was at first, down on that. But thankfully, Pat asked if his friends in I Rise could play a few songs. I was stoked. I had initially planned on getting I Rise on the bill, but obviously, the bill was already too long. I Rise got up and slayed it. The crowd loved the home town heroes, and the Brothers Kantarelis were psyched. I couldn’t ask for anything more.
Grab this limited Sound And Fury 2008 ep from xambiguousmarix. It’s a dope EP, and you can’t go wrong with limited vinyl.
My Fire Burns On
While packing up some items for Naidoo, I recalled how much fun I had at the last Strife show in Proivdence. It really was a blast. Of course, I’m packing up a few items which Naidoo was afraid would never hit the e-store. So he’s getting a tshirt and a 2XL hood. Of course, lots of these items can now be had on their e-store. All good. Glad to support the band while they rolled through town. Of course, they had tees but no vinyl. If you want vinyl, you’ll have to check with sixfeetunderrecords or in_vinyl_we_trust. SFU has the limited Sound And Fury press, while the other has the slightly more available pink vinyl repress. Both are ill and good grabs. Do it up.
Trapped Under Ice!
When I saw Trapped Under Ice last night, I noticed no vinyl. Sorry. Maybe I missed it? Oddly enough, there was a CT distro there and they had some of the weirdest shit STILL. Like a Capgun / Last In Line split, some 25 Ta Life EPs and even a few Comin Correct EPs. CT is always like a time warp. Lots of big gauge of course, and if it had been 15 degrees cooler, I bet the place would have been swarming with puffy vests. Ahhh, CT.
If you slept on snagging some of these records, now is the time to pick them up. First up is the EP from Reaper Records. This is the special Sound And Fury 2010 press. Stay Cold limited to 19. That’s not a lot. Not a lot at all. If you own this, you and 18 other people should start a club. Think about it.
Or maybe you are more into this Trapped Under Ice / Dirty Money split ep from nicktape. Great record release ep. Another Reaper Records An A389 Records release. I’m not exactly sure who Dirty Money is, but you know I’m looking into it right now.
WTF? Harms Way … Something.
If I hadn’t seen one of these in person, I’d probably have no idea what furyofzane is trying to sell. The picture is not super helpful and the description even less so. Actually, the description isn’t TOO bad, it just lacks any real context. Just dribbles out the info.
Harms Way No Gods, No Masters Sound and fury edition of the 7inch numbered 41 out of 80
Maybe it’s the lack of punctuation that gets me. I’m not sure what really bothers me most, but I bet someone gets a great score cheap because of it. Any takers?
