I can’t listen to Fastbreak without thinking about summer. And not the kind of summer where you work every day and it’s raining on the weekend and life gets you down. I’m talking about the fucking raddest summers where every day involves jumping off rocks into water, friends are always in town from out of town, the shows are awesome with great headliners and awesome new acts, .. You know those summers. That’s what Where It Lies means to me. I’m guessing JayBil would have a similar opinion.

Free Spirit, No Tolerance & Standhard Records

I love this tape. What you are looking at is a “bootleg” demo tape that has both the Free Spirit and No Tolerance demos on one tape. It was “made” by Standhard Records in very limited quantities. Very Rick Ta Life style here. Except it was Standhard Records. Great inside joke and gag. Also, check the story from southparktvma, it’s a good one.

Doug Free Spirit 2: The Demo (Which He Didn’t Play On).

While Doug often gets upset with friends who turn around and eBay off all the stuff he has given them, I don’t think he’d get mad at weezerkid890 for selling off all his Free Spirit demos, because well… he probably didn’t get them from Doug (and because he’s a solid dude). Because Doug wasn’t in Free Spirit when the demo came out. But I’m posting them anyways, because a. he did back ups on them, and b. because it’s Doug Free Friday, and you can’t spell Free Spirit without Free.
