I’m gonna turn my debut here at Vinyl Noize into a two-fisted tale and post this neat little BIN from

Final Exit is one of those bands that if I find out that someone likes them, I can safely bet that I will probably like that person. Not to be confused with the Japanese grind band, this Final Exit were from Sweden in the 1990′s, and when I first got into them as well as for a while after I didn’t even know it featured members of Refused, and it didn’t even matter, since this sounds nothing like them what so ever. I suppose you could call this the “Project X” to Refused’s “Youth Of Today”, or just a side-band, but this is some awesome, heavy, thick hardcore here. With smart lyrics to boot. This is probably as heavy as a band could get without leaning into metal.

Nick from Third Party once told me the story behind putting out this 7″. He was so into this band that he flew to Sweden just to see them play their last gig. There he asked them to let him release something by them on vinyl. He said at first they were like “naah”, but when he told them he flew to Sweden from the States just for the gig they had to do it. For a long time, this 7″ on Third Party was Final Exit’s only vinyl output. They had 2 full length CD’s and some comp tracks out as well, which even though they were distributed by Victory, I don’t think this band ever became a household name with the moshing-masses. Some time ago, Monument Records from Sweden gave this band their full vinyl-due and released their discography on double LP. Check it out here. But I think this 7″ is still a great buy and at only $4, this BIN should be a no-brainer!
