Mammoth Grinder Hatred Surge split

The other week when Power Trip played Philly I managed to pick up a copy of the Mammoth Grinder Hatred Surge split on vinyl. The drummer of Power Trip is in both Mammoth Grinder and Hatred Surge and I think he helped with putting out the record, so there was a reason why the the split was even available at the Power Trip show.Seller chrislewis122 is selling his copy on blue out of 300. I am half tempted to buy this thing, and have the two versions, but then I know I’d have to grab the copy on red when it hops online. Where’s my towel?

Seller 33eyez has been unloading a great collection of classic early 80′s American hardcore, so if that’s your bag, you should keep this guy on your watch list.

Up for grabs today is a really f’n cool copy of the first Big Boys LP, referred to here as Where’s My Towel but also known as Industry Standard. This copy is loaded with cool bonus material including two alternate sleeves, hand drawn labels by front man Biscuit, and a bunch of extra inserts. That being said, I really can’t get down with this band and their bad white boy funk, but I always thought this LP was cool solely based on the design aesthetic of the packaging. Yeah, they have a few punk hits here and there, but I always viewed this band in a love ‘em or hate ‘em light and I really have to choose the latter.

I dont really know why, but back when I was getting into punk & hardcore I didnt really get into MDC. I was aware of them, but just never really listened to them. It actually wasnt until a few years ago that I heard a few songs and was hooked. Now I put them up there with DRI for my favorites from Texas!

I dont know if this picture disc version of Millions of Dead Cops LP is rare or not, but I’m a big fan of the artwork so I think its a cool LP. dancedisorder82 also has some other cool records for sale!
