Thrice / Thursday split… up! Zing

So this week both Thirce and Thursday announced they were splitting up. Or going on hiatuses. Or taking long vacations. Bands are vague sometimes, you know how them there artists can be. Chances are though, that the tours they both have upcoming will be their last. So if that sparks your interest, then better get out there while the getting is good. There will always be vinyl though. And strangely, these guys did a split together! And you can score it pretty cheap (unlike a lot of their other vinyl, there’s some $200-$300 Thrice records out there apparently… who knew??)

Thursday Test Press Thursday!!!

YES! Finally. A Thursday test press on a Thursday! Oh witty titles, how I love to fight with you! Actually, I am sure that there have been plenty of Thursdays that have passed with Thursday test pressings and I just didn’t think to look. Not this time though. Repjack111 has the band’s 2002 5 song EP here, Five Stories Falling (thank you wikipedia.) Looks like he also has a ton of other Victory stuff, and is located in Chicago. Oh.. even a Blood For Blood test press… hmmm…

Seller repjack111 must have either worked at Victory Records, or he had a really good hook up there, because all of these test presses are for Victory releases. In addition to the two Blood For Blood tests from this morning, we’ve also got Strife, Comeback Kid, Thursday, A Day To Remember, and Taking Back Sunday… so basically zero other bands I listen to (well, I still occasionally give One Truth a spin or two). Your gain!
