Old Fiends Die Hard!

The Undead ‘Act Your Rage’ LP on blue vinyl (color doesnt show in the picture) is from the 1st press and is limited to only 750 copies. I know they’re not the Misifts, but a pressing of 750 for any Fiend related band is a pretty good find. Only problem could be if this is actually a white with blue streaks (teal) copy because then it would be of 1500 copies, but its really hard to tell from the picture. At first I thought it was solid white vinyl.

I’m sure you can get more info and maybe a better picture from lphound if you ask.

DAMAGED GOODS zine #7 (1981)

Cool early hardcore zine outta NYC, published by Misguided drummer Lyle Hysen. Not sure how many issues he did, the highest copy I’ve seen is #9. DG was also responsible for releasing what many would call the first official “New York Hardcore” record, the Heart Attack God Is Dead 7″.

This issue has short spreads on the Bad Brains and Undead, some scene news and a smattering of record reviews. The cover is great Bad Brains art by Donnel G. of Th’ Influence (another all-black early NYC band, if anyone has ANY recording by this band please contact me!) At any rate, these are virtually impossible to find now, so the $19.99 BIN is not a bad deal for a nice piece of vintage NYHC ephemera.
