In The Blink Of An Eye

Vision is a band that doesn’t get much love these days. I think unless you’re over 30, live in New Jersey and frequent bars down the shore then you probably arent getting into Vision. Thats a shame because they still kick ass live now (on the off chance you can see them play). Seller rockandrollsoul is offering up their debut album for a steal. Sure its not the purple vinyl or the Italian test with a different mix, but its a classic for a hell of a price.

While you’re at it pick up this other fine album from the same seller. Original on Wishingwell.

Screaming For BIN

Here’s a pretty decent BIN-priced first press copy of Screaming For Change, not sure if there’s a poster involved or not so hit up robare-henderson and see what the good man says.

I was at a show the other night and TWO people told me that they think the poem on this LP is cool. I don’t think I’ve ever met ANYONE that has said that before, so the fact that two people in the same conversation were into it kinda blew my mind a little.

UC – Screaming For Change

Is there anything more tasty than colored vinyl from Wishingwell Records? Probably not. Well, maybe if Schism Records had pressed color vinyl … This Uniform Choice lp is a great one. xuttermoshx claims it is out of 100, but I always found that number hard to believe. This second press has FOUR different color variations. Would WW just press 400 for a second press? Seems weird, especially considering how LARGE most pressings were. It’s rare, but I don’t know if 100 is right. What do you think? Has an official number ever come out? Can we get DCXX on this one?

Caveat Emptor.

Edit- Perhaps I was too hasty… 90% of these have been yanked since this post went up. Fishy.

I got all excited about the records for sale from patrick166, and then I had my usual last minute realization that this is slavko, back again to taunt me with records I don’t dare risk buying because of his past track record. Still, I haven’t heard anything recent about him getting up to crooked shenanigans, so as always, if you wanna take the risk, there’s some good stuff up (as always).

Uniform Choice lp “on sexy PURPLE MARBLE”

What another nice treat for January! We dont see color Uniform Choice Lps but a few times a year. This LP came on 4 different colors. Red, Green, Pink, Purple. I feel like I see Purple the most though.
Were all the colors the same press? I think there is 500 of each color or am I making that up? Regardless of pressing info this one always seems to command a high price and itll be interesting to see how much Holiday money people are gonna throw down but we might not see that as the seller says “I reserve the right to pull the item if there is a good enough offer for it outside ebay.” Grimey move.

Staring Into The Sun

You know how some people say ridiculous stuff like “We’re Not In This Alone is better than Break Down The Walls,” or “The Misfits were good when I saw them in 2004″ or even “hardcore died in 1986?” Shit like that is ridiculous. Do you think anyone has ever said “Staring Into The Sun is better than Screaming For Change?” I hope not. I can’t even imagine what sort of riff raff would say something like that. It’s just not right.

Our boy Naidoo is selling this particular copy. Honestly, I can’t recall seeing this cover before. Anyone have some info?

But for my money, it’s all about Screaming For Change. And Wishingwell color vinyl? You can’t beat that. Go ahead and hit the “Make Offer” button. This one has been sitting around for a while, you could get a deal.

4 From The West.

Seller grafiksboy has a lot of hardcore auctions going on, including these lps from 4 classic West Coast hardcore bands with 3 very distinctive singers (Pat Dubar sang for both Unity and UC)…

I’m going to make what will probably be an unpopular admission here… Insted? Not that into ‘em. I won’t pretend they aren’t a classic band, and We’ll Make The Difference is a great song, but every other song I’ve heard from them is just a blur to me. I have the same issue with 7 Seconds and The Crew record. That said, Insted WERE really good when I saw them on one of their reunion stops (Living Room in Providence with The First Step).
