We’ve got a trio of records here being auctioned by hardcorex74 that I must confess to having slacked on posting up- there’s only a day or two left on em, and all three are already getting pricey. This is what I get for being a busy adult instead of an idle teen…

United Blood 2012.
I figured hardcorex74′s auction for the namesake of United Blood Fest would be as good a post as any in which to give you the dates for this years fest. Mark your calenders, cuz this year the fest returns to the former Alley Katz, now going by the name Kingdom, on March 30 and 31. No bands announced yet, but it’s sure to be a banger! Talk about unity…
United Youth Rules.
I want to take a quick moment this morning to once again mention (this is a “once again” mention, right? I feel like I said this before, in a post with these exact same tapes) how much I enjoyed United Youth’s set at this years United Blood. Young kids, playing hardcore right, with stagedives everywhere you turn. So with that in mind, shame on negativepollution for already getting rid of the two United Youth tapes he picked up at UB. These things should be keepers, not flippers (fleepers? Ugh, that’s too awful even for me).
Underdog New Beginning First press
Did you catch Underdog at United Blood? What did you think? Have you caught them in the last few years? Not like it was in the late 80s when this EP came out, that’s for certain. But there is still a buzz, still joy. And plenty of mosh. Grab this EP from linksny. You won’t regret it.
Rare Title Fight
Two months to go until Title Fight drops Shed. It’s gonna be a grind, I can feel it. Until then, here’s a few gems from sidebofmywar and yeeahdude. You won’t see too many of these floating around.
Bane United Blood 2010
Every time I see this Bane EP on ebay, I chuckle a little. It’s just a weird little press. I mean, c’mon, Bane didn’t even play United Blood that year. That’s odd, right? Of course, it didn’t prevent me from having a friend pick one up for me (thanks Nikki). And it didn’t stop me from grabbing 21 other pressings of the last two EPs put out. 22 different records, no doubles. Ridiculous. Grab this United Blood ep from moniskater. Sam had a few in the online store for a bit, but they went fast. And if you want to grab the 2nd press of the Boston EP, make sure to hit up the Triple B Records estore. There aren’t many left of that one either.
Try, Try Again.
Seller truckfighter420 is nothing if not persistent. This is the 3rd time we’ve seen this Straight Ahead lp from him, and very likely the 2nd time for this bootleg United Blood ep.
It’s a different picture than last time, but the cover and vinyl look exactly the same. Given that that one sold for around 200 bucks, yet was not labeled a bootleg, could it be that this was returned? Judging from the feedback left by bpmbryan, it seems likely.
So bpmbryan, if you’re reading… we’d love to know what went down.
United Blue Blood.
FINALLY, after two posts mentioning the existence of it, we have a copy of the blue vinyl version of the No Justice Just Us benefit pressing of Agnostic Front’s United Blood e.p., this one brought to us by jimrockstar1.
There were actually two of these up about a week ago from dbdms, but one of our fellow contributors asked that we not post them. They both went for around 25 dollars, which seems to be the going rate for the red as well.
United Blood: Red.
We’ve seen this version of Agnostic Front’s United Blood ep on red that xnixonbreakdownx is selling before, but I certainly don’t mind seeing it again…
As noted in the comments section the last time, this was also pressed on blue with a black cover. And last time, the red only went for a hair over 25 dollars. Hopefully it does better this time around.
Warzone and Agnostic Front.
Seller bred2hate has a ton of auctions going, mostly skinhead and oi related, and while I like a some of that stuff, I don’t really know a lot about most of what I see listed. As such, there is really only one thing that jumps out at me:
Up for bids is a used 7″ by Warzone called Lower East Side Crew. Black Vinyl. Test Pressing. Super rare. These were limited to 200, and this is the test press. You probably won’t ever see a test pressing of this again as I think only 3 or 4 were made.
He doesn’t specify, but it should be obvious that this is the test pressing of a bootleg; there are way more of the LES Crew record than 200, and you can easily see that this doesn’t match up to anything on Rev’s pressing info page. Just something to consider if you’re thinking about biting on his high start bid. Meanwhile, monstermind has a similarly generically covered piece of NYHC vinyl up for grabs…
Now this may look just as bootalicious as the previous record, but looks can be deceiving: this one comes with an actual pedigree:
This 7″ was originally released in 1983 only in 1,000 copies which makes this ultra rare. However, this copy is from 1989. It was officially repressed on a limited RED vinyl and white cover. Only 500 copies were pressed. This repress was made to raise some money for their singer Roger who had seriously got hurt at a show. Since he didn’t have health insurance and had to pay the operation himself, these records were pressed to help him out financially.
I think we know which one of these is the better pick up.
Reject Auctions.
Plenty of records available from chrisreject this week, and I have to say, for a boot, this is a nice looking United Blood 7 inch.
It’s only on closer inspection that you see how pixelated (maybe a better word for it is overexposed) that cover actually is. Other than that though, really nice looking, and that photocopied poster is pretty cool. Def a much nicer looking total package than the one we saw go for $200+ back in August. He also has some other nice stuff, like this Quicksand on white and an original Kraut 7 inch.
Too Rich For My (United) Blood.
As mentioned over on Tee Till Death, seller truckfighter420 has a couple great records up, but man… look at those starting bids!
Do those records go for that much? Sure thing. Sometimes more. But those starting bid prices might as well be BIN’s, and that’s probably gonna decrease the odds of them going for much higher. A better choice for the Straight Ahead collector would be this sealed 2nd press available from gernblandsten, who is selling a whole ton of records for Duane Some, of Some Records fame.
Oh, and as I understand it, the UB 7″ (which I’m surprised to see has a bid already) is a boot…
UNITED BLOOD & KRAKDOWN
Will you let ZERO FEEDBACK scare you away from potential bargain prices on these legendary NYHC records?
Bane United Blood 2010
Oh man.
When Bane played United Blood Fest earlier this year, I moshed my ass off. I headwalked from one side of the stage back to the other side. TWICE. It was phenomenal. It was killer …
It never happened.
Yeah. Bane didn’t play United Blood Fest. I doubt any of the members of Bane were even in the state. But that didn’t stop Sam Triple B from making up some covers and selling a limited edition. Can’t knock that hustle. Now go see what Marcus of Endless Quest Records had to say about it.
** Great sellername too. Continue reading
