I remember back in 1995/1996, every time I saw a mention or a review in a zine of the band Uprise, they would make a point of mentioning that it’s not the same band as THE Uprise. One band was made up of Straight Edge kid’s from NJ’s Morris County Youth Crew, the other were PA skinheads with a violent rep who broke up almost a decade before the other band even formed.
