Citizens Arrest Light in The Darkness

Seller arthurwelikeyou has got one of, if not the best 7″ from the 90′s. This 7″ was released on Wardance Records, and is a certified ripper. The seller states that the sleeve is almost flawless, vinyl is perfect and that it has only been played a couple times. The inside of the sleeve has the red eyes & “Soaked in others blood” screened on it. This isn’t as good of a get as the Citizen’s Arrest Light in the Darkness on red but I would still try to get it. The last red copy on ebay fetched 125 bucks, and I feel as though this copy is getting pretty pricy already. We’ll have to see where it ends in the next few days. I settled getting a colored repress at their recent reunion shows in Philadelphia. This record will get crossed off in my 2012 pick-ups for sure.

Moss Icon

A quick hit, but certainly a band worth more attention than they receive. This only has 2 days but currently sits with a price tag under $2.

Moss Icon stumbled into my life late, or late as it would seem in the era where all music is immediately accessible at the point of knowing it exists, when I had begun to feel much of the current hardcore and punk music coming my way sounded boxed in and formulated. Moss Icon wasn’t some sort of revelation, rather a breath of fresh air. Particularly on this LP, the band colored outside the lines. They didn’t redraw the image, merely took their liberties to make it their own – like most of the greats.

While Moss Icon reflected a lot of the “revolution summer” aesthetics that they occasionally get tossed towards, but with a spastic sound that both exuded a looseness and melody and edge that much of that mid-era Dischord lacked.

I could certainly think of many worse ways to spend $2. The song “The Life” is worth that alone.
