Super Mega KISS Box

Its no secret…. I’m a huge KISS fan. I have been since my dad took me to see them with full make up on the Creatures of the Night tour. I still remember Night Ranger opening and standing in line outside the Worcester Centrum. Man it was awesome!

Anyway… this is a box set I’ve never seen before and it looks kinda cool. If I was rich I would buy tons of silly KISS vinyl just cause most of the album covers are so cool!

This box includes…
Kiss, Hotter Than Hell, Dressed to Kill, Alive!, Destroyer, Rock and Roll Over, Love Gun, Alive II and Dynasty, for a total of 11 LPs plus booklet and trading cards. Only think that would make it cooler is if it came with reproductions of all the little prizes that came with those early KISS records. Like the ‘Love Gun’ and the tattoos that came with Alive II. Thats when records were REALLY cool and the biggest reason that I still collect them today!

antonym211 also has a Beatles box set and a Macbook for sale if your interested

a Sirius star…

I’ve never heard this record, but I dont imagine that its really all that great. One the other hand I am a HUGE Howard Stern fan. I listen pretty much all day, every day using my iPhone to get Sirius because streaming audio is blocked on my work computer (bastards!). In fact Howard is talking to Joan Rivers about the last time she got laid right now!

Anyway this is a Howard Stern comedy record from 1982. It was released by Wren Records who at the time paid Howard $3500 to release the record. Not even close to his $500 Million dollar contract with Sirius! This was released on CD by Unclean Beaver Records in 1994. Its just a collection of early 1980′s pre-recorded radio bits.

Here is a standard version complete with the original poster it included and also an auction for a signed version (which also includes the poster). The autographed one is signed by “Howeird” (Howards early 80′s on air name), Earth Dog Fred (Fred Norris) and two other 80′s radio guys that I’m not really familiar with (steve chaconas & steve geiger)

Bane X:58 City Lot

I hope it’s not just me, but this BIN it no price really sucks.

Seriously.

Who puts up 3 EPs that you can probably still mailorder and then attempt to charge $80 (plus $4 for shipping)?

That’s just doesn’t make any sense.

Great EP though. Big fan. Dublin, Rome and Boston.
