Tags Matching: west coast tour

So here’s the thing about the limited Mongoloids/Rival Mob West Coast Weekend tour cover on this Mongoloids record being sold by barfight: it wasn’t meant to be a cover; as originally commissioned, it was meant to be a full size poster.

Thing is, drawing a full sized poster to size? Yeah, it kind of makes it hard to scan it. So when the copy I passed along was scanned, it got cut off, thus making things appear off center. Which of course would make a poster look ridiculous (some would say more ridiculous). Def a bum out, especially since I’ve been fighting to get the Mob to use that cannibal guy for over two years now, but I think in terms of making a silk purse out of a sow’s ear, it turned out as good as possible, so kudos to them for getting creative.

(Alas, the Mob to my knowledge did not take a similar tact and make tour covers for any of their vinyl so that we could post a matching set for you, so you’ll have to settle for welcometolud’s auction for the lp on orange.)
