I can’t help but note that the way recordsurplusla has this auction titled, someone just quickly browsing down a list of auctions might just assume this is a test press of the Avengers compilation The American Me that came out in 2004 and bypass it (not that it would have had a test pressing, since that was a cd. But still, the title makes it sound like a repress or a boot). That would be a shame, because in actuality, it’s a lot better than that.

As you can see on the label, this is a test pressing for a record on White Noise. Combined with the rest of the info provided in the actual auction description, that means this is a test pressing of the 4 song 12 inch Steve Jones produced e.p. that came out posthumously in 1979, and is better known as both Avengers and the White Noise EP. The question now is, will this end anywhere near the ridiculous price
synoco is asking for this original crucifix version of the We Are The One 7″…

$294.10 is kind of random, don’t you think? Also high. Very, very high. No wonder it’s a re-listing.
