The Bonds Of Friendship

Some sellers are weirdos. Take 1500jfk for example. His selling style is just weird. When he listed this Insted LP, he used the cover shot below as his “gallery” photo. That means, every time someone searches for Insted, they’ll see that pic.

They’ll see the notch on the corner of the sleeve and then they’ll probably blast right by it. However, they’d be missing out. Because INSTED of using that picture, he should have used this one. For obvious reasons …

Smooth move, ex-lax. Instead of the seller scoring big on a tour press LP limited to 200 slabs (or so…), people will just blow by it. A buyers dream!

Three Hits For A Home From Hell.

Happy home hunters Ken and Jenn’s auctions continue, with three different versions of Three Hits From Hell.

I’ve successfully kept myself out of the rafters, but now I’m pretty sure I want to egg their house once they get it.

Straight Edge Revenge!

Bridge 9 recently reissued the original Antidote 7″ and a lot of people were pretty psyched. Knowing I’ll never spend the money on an original I bought the B9 copy! For Antidote they did a pressing of 2000 copies, 1000 on red, 700 on white and 300 on green vinyl.

A few years back when they reissued the Project X 7″ they did 1500 on black and 500 on white. Then they did 1000 more on black as a second press and 1000 on clear as a third press.

This is from the first press of 500 on white vinyl and its numbered 62 of 500. This originally came with a matching numbered Schism fanzine book, but its not included in this auction.

What do you think the next Bridge 9 reissue will be?!?!

Reject Auctions.

Plenty of records available from chrisreject this week, and I have to say, for a boot, this is a nice looking United Blood 7 inch.

It’s only on closer inspection that you see how pixelated (maybe a better word for it is overexposed) that cover actually is. Other than that though, really nice looking, and that photocopied poster is pretty cool. Def a much nicer looking total package than the one we saw go for $200+ back in August. He also has some other nice stuff, like this Quicksand on white and an original Kraut 7 inch.

FRANK 151 Book.

Seller madashellgc brings us the DMS edition of the FRANK 151 book/zine, but I can’t help but notice that he doesn’t provide any sort of accompanying soundtrack…

Fortunately, hauntedtownrecords and mnl_studios have some under rated Madball records to go with it…

Madball covering Killing Time. ’nuff said.

The last great Madball record. I like a song here or there off the stuff that has come after, but Hold It Down is up there with Set It Off in my eyes.

Project X reissue set

xsmikex did a wise thing in my opinion. He decided that he wanted to sell his Bridge 9 Project X reissue 7″ and he bundled it back up the way it came with the macthing numbered book and the Schism T-shirt that came with the package deal.

In 2005 Bridge 9 did a licensed reissue of the original Project X 7″ on CD, black vinyl & white vinyl. The CD is still available (as well as a 2nd press 7″ on clear vinyl) but the black vinyl and white vinyl sold out pretty quick. Black was limited to 1500 copies and white was limited to 500, but the only way to get the white vinyl was to preorder a set that came with a 7″, a book collecting some Schism fanzines and a Schism logo T-shirt. The 7″ and the book were numbered of 500 and each set came with matching numbers. This set is # 202 out of 500.

This has been sold out for a long time and its a really nice collection so someone grab it up….. STRAIGHT EDGE REVENGE!!

From Anger And Rage: Part SAF

Earlier today, Josh posted a few examples of the From Anger And Rage LP by Verse (the seller must be liquidating his Verse collection). When this album dropped, the Rhode Island straight edge rose up. For many years, Rhode Island straight edge was sans champion. Verse filled this gap. Of course, those dudes all broke edge. What’s that saying about knights falling off horses? Fitting here.

But this album is pretty cool. A second press created for the 2007 Sound And Fury Fest. I can guess why they chose to use a “$” here, even if it isn’t related to money. I’m pretty positive Todd, Riley and Bob never made a cent on those gigs. If they had, they wouldn’t be working full time jobs like the rest of us slobs.
