FLEX YOUR HEAD

Fun fact about Flex Your Head: the artwork for the first press (violin cover seen here) and the second press (wheat field cover), as well as all three pressings of the FU’s My America LP, were stock images from the jacket printers. As evidence, I offer you the 2nd photo below, which I snapped of a classical LP at the local record emporium the other night. I come across records like this every once in a while, and I always get a little laugh out of them.

As for the actual record — though this copy is insert-less, it still has most of the original shrink wrap on it, which IMO is a great perk, and worth paying a little extra for, since these jackets are frequently marred by heavy ringwear. And, Void is worth paying any price for.

Ooooffffff, Not a Test Press

Where do people come up with their info?

Jeesh.

At vinylnoize, we at least ATTEMPT to give out facts before posting some shit on the internet for the world to see.

This seller? Not really good at the fact finding.

What you see here is a Ten Yard Fight EP on Big Wheel Records, blue vinyl. It doesn’t have a sleeve.

That is all. Nothing more, nothing less. It’s just minus a sleeve. Oh sure, someone got cute and wrote Boston XXX on it, but hell, it could have been anyone. Maybe it was Lacroix. Maybe it was AP. Maybe it was the seller. Who knows.

What we do KNOW however, is that it is NOT a test press. I should know. I own a Ten Yard Fight Big Wheel Records EP test press, and it definitely isn’t on blue vinyl with a real label.

* shout outs to Dobek (that FOOL!) for pointing this auction out to me. One love.
