I’ll Take Nine Copies Of The Burn EP On Yellow Please.

To the shock of absolutely no one, eBay has already been flooded with flippings of yesterday’s Record Store Day purchases. I mean, we’re talking listings in the double digits on some of this stuff. Now, me personally? All I was interested in picking up was the Burn ep on yellow. Which I easily acquired courtesy of a 3pm visit to the Natick Newbury Comics, where I was told that no one had touched any of the Rev releases all day. So I made some calls, shot out some texts, and ended up buying basically all of what they had to distribute amongst my friends who couldn’t make it to a store. It was only fair; I had people looking out for me in case I missed out. Could I have simply bought them all anyways for flipping? Sure, but it would have bit me in the ass. Because as of this writing, I count NINE of the RSD Burn ep currently up for auction and/or BIN… mostly BIN.

That last one from huntermass is the only one with any sort of viable excuse behind it, as he says his wife also purchased one, so he posted the extra for cost, and the one right above it from bishamma was started at a mere 99 cents, so that one might be worth taking a shot at. The rest of these… hey, it’s your money. We just post things that are interesting or that we want to talk about.

Have Heart – The Juice Edition

Perhaps more rare than a testpress?.

About a year ago I bought this off ebay, when it arrived I noticed this special cover, it could be kool-aid stains, it could be a special press that no one has heard about. I have looked up on on, popsike comes up dry, vinylnoize doesn´t seem to have the answer either. While the vinyl is yellow and in good condition, this cover really puzzels me – it´s something special!

I´d advise people to put this on the watch list and be prepared to bid hard, this could be a 1/1 – Have Heart: Songs to scream at guys who sell records but doesn´t mention the cover is messed up.

LOL. Too bad he had to receive a messed up LP, but I give him kudos on his resale. Pretty amusing.

** Anyone who thinks this is a REAL pressing deserves a slap on the back of the head.

xmilestogox brings us one of my other favorite records of the year. I dont think two days doesnt go by where I dont end up listening to this record. This came on a whole bunch of colors with the yellow being a rarer one. I still need one on the purple/yellow splatter color :(

When Burn broke up a million years ago (for the first time), they left without ever REALLY releasing the Last Great See ep. Some people had tape copies, or copies of copies, of some crazy 6th generation copies. The music was fucking astounding. It wasn’t released officially by Revelation Records until 2002, nearly 10 years after it was originally recorded. But before this EP could be released, Burn reunited. They played a few gigs and recorded a BRAND new album. You’d think this would be amazing. The original Burn EP is mind blowing awesome. Serious next level shit. But the Cleanse LP left a lot of people wanting more. Something about it just never sat well with me. But Equal Vision Records did their best to put out a release that record nerds and music fans would love. They pulled it off. Also odd? No merch was ever repressed to support the LP release. Weird.

As I recall, this album came on black, yellow and red. This is the yellow copy. Limited to ~200 (as I recall).

Rev Collection – YOT CCME BIN OMG FTW

Remember how bummed everyone was when the YOT reissues came out?!? Here is your chance to get bummed out all over again. Two auctions both with BINs. One seller states that this was pressed 440 on yellow but I dont know where he got that info from. Can anyone confirm?

Why this record is not more popular is beyond me.
Yes I know they are from euro and you probably didnt give them a chance. Yes I know their later records are an aquired taste. But you have no reason for not picking this up. I will say this might be my favorite LP of the 2000s. You may not agree and I dont care, It has been in constant rotation since I have gotten it. Great dudes in the band and this LP doesnt have one clunker on it. Tilburg riffs and Justice cover art?!? Solid solid shit.
