Seller god_among_men_77 is serving us a very nice platter of gold wax in the ebay world . This 7″ was a long time in the making but it sure was worth the wait. 6 hard hitting songs of no bullshit Brotherhood/Confront style sxe hardcore. I have the demo tape, the demo on gold (/88) *bet you didn’t know about that one*, the demo on black, this record on red, black and the pre-release. This is the only version I do not have. I’ll wait to see if I’ll have to grab this on ebay or not. I feel like the band may have a few copies but peep the auction, because this will be going for a few bucks because I haven’t seen it on ebay yet.

Mindset and Sacred Love Test Presses From Ev
I’m not sure why Ev is selling these great items from his personal collection, but you can guarantee, we support it. 2012 is a good year to look out for you friends. So get into it.
First up is the Mindset EP on React Records. Love, love, LOVE this one. So good.
Next up is the Sacred Love Dividing Lines LP test press from Youngblood Records. I’ve gotta claim ignorance. Somehow, I have not heard this one.
Not a test press but rather a tour press. We’ll take it still.

Finally, the demo test press. Another Youngblood Records release. Get into it.

Shout outs to Ev. Happy New Year, dude. Happy New Year to all of you. 2012, still on top.

Face Reality – S/T Pre-Release
This past weekend, I had the great pleasure to gig it with Face Reality. Besides the show being haunted and nearly everyone having equipment problems for their set, the show was a good time and I got to hang out with some good friends. Face Reality is one of the newest bands on the Youngblood Records roster, and they bring it with some hard-hitting YC style hardcore from Detroit. They recently have been busting their asses on the road with some long distance out of town gigs; the Joe HC benefit, and Edge Day down in Atlanta to name a few.
dean.parrish has got a pre-release of their record they had for at the Underdog show in Philly and for the Youngblood Records showcase. It’s out of 75 on red vinyl.
Before there was No Justice, there was Bladecrasher.
xguerillawarfarex is bringing it hard with the Bladecrasher 7 inches in his auctions. Bladecrasher was pre-Timmy No Justice band that is not unlike No Justice musically, so needless to say it’s a real jump off your bed and mosh around your room kind of 7 inch. The 700 club was the 2nd release on the Youngblood Records and since I posted a Rancor lot the other day, It’s only fitting to put this Bladecrasher 7 inch up on the blog. As for the Bladecrasher records xguerillawarfarex has up for auctions there is a few different variations. First up to bat, is a Goat Cover of the 700 club numbered 89/100. 1st press on blue vinyl with an orange sleeve out of 150, and then the regular 1st press on black vinyl. If my context clues are correct, judging by the auctions and location of this auctioneer, this could be Sean Youngblood. If this is him, shoutouts to him.
Rancor Flip the Switch Lot
xguerillawarfarex from Lancaster, Pennsylvania has a Rancor Flip the Switch Lot that includes a 1st press on red vinyl out of 200, 1st press on black vinyl out of 725, 2nd press on green vinyl out of 500, and 2nd press on black vinyl out of 500 has a small price sticker on upper right corner of sleeve. There are no bids on this auction with 2 days left. So if you are Youngblood or Rancor fan, check out the auction because this could be a steal.
March To Your Grave.
When someone thinks of DC hardcore, the only fitting image is of the early 80′s and Dischord Records. Anything else is heresy. The good thing is that almost without fail, everyone is good with that. You don’t get too much bickering trying to say that there was a more defining era for the region. It’s scripture.
That said, the city has gone through many days of thick and thin, and Striking Distance was definitely on top during a nice resurgence of hardcore in the nation’s capital. The 90′s were dominated by some pretty mediocre midtempo hardcore and in general lacked any edge to them (take no offense, please, Battery fans.) – Striking Distance hit the ground running with a banger of a 7″ that was as fast as it was hard. Their LP takes that up a notch, but the hard breaks and distinctive buildups were more pronounced here as the sound evolved. And wouldn’t you know it… seller corkinhurst has a test press of that very LP up for auction now.
Big props to Youngblood for the artwork on the test press here – they did a Desperate Measures record release (and a Striking Distance record release) that had a very similar aesthetic. Love when labels put the effort into having a very concise look, and Youngblood has always had that on lock.

What Year Is It?
I like Rain On The Parade.
I’m not going to lie.
But as much as I like ROTP, I’m not paying $250 for a ROTP test press.
I know they WERE big, but I don’t know if they are still THAT big. Does anyone think they are that big?
Limited to 24, this one is #9. Youngblood Records fans unite. Shoot out to Sean Youngblood.
