Hammerhead LP (Integirty worship before it was cool)

Hammerhead is a strange LP, you probably have never heard of it, and neither have I until my record store colleague recommended it some time ago since I like Integrity. Basically, Hammerhead were hc/punk band from Germany in the early to mid 1990′s and well, if Integrity were gutter-punkish Germans, they would be Hammerhead. Check it out. This is a re-issue.

Metal Monday: Destruction – Eternal Devastation

Seller absurdnihilism has up for grabs a real thrasher, the second full length album “Eternal Devastation” from Germany’s Destruction.

Destruction were one of the Big Three of the 1980′s German thrash metal scene along with Kreator and Sodom. I used to think they were the shit just from their image alone. Bullet belts, black leather and studded armbands – but in a way that was over the top from everyone else in the thrash scene. Musically, they were German thrash. Terrible grammar with “English as a second language” lyrics, super fast playing and really technical guitar parts. Not much to say more than that.

This copy is a European first press released on Steamhammer Records and looks to be in great shape, has less than a day to go and no bids. I wouldn’t go much higher than the opening bid, but maybe that will be good enough to score this amazing album. CURSE THE GODS!!!

Kreator – Coma Of Souls

While this is nowhere near Kreator’s best album (that would be Extreme Aggression) and was released on the down slope near the end of thrash’s seven year run at the top, Coma Of Souls contains one of the best metal songs ever written. Check out the lead track “When The Sun Burns Red” on youtube and you will be compelled to bid on this album while throwing on some skinny jeans and white hi tops.

It’s not even September but zee Germans are busy on zee frontlines. Zees time around however instead of blitzkrieg collector1982sc brings you zees lovely green vinyl UC LP. Zees is zee 2nd pressing released in zee 80s … wait a minute… is it now??… that’s right, the seller failed to mention the small and insignificant fact that REVHQ has about 7 million freshly pressed green vinyl copies ready to be picked up by you and right now for a measly 11 dollars and 80 cents.

Yeah, the seller fails to mention all that. He does say however that:
“biete euch auch einen Sofortkauf an, schickt einfach eine Nachricht mit vernünftigen Preisvorschlag an mich!”
which according to google means:
“also offer you an instant purchase, simply send a message with reasonable price proposal to me!”

Since the record has been opened and is graded as 1+++ which I assume in German would mean VG+++?? and not mint I would say that a reasonable price proposal would be around $8 or $9 since you can have a brand new, not handled and sealed copy for $11.80

I am genuinely curious as to what this is going to fetch.. I am fairly certain that there are people out there that don’t check the REV webstore and don’t read VN and are searching for Uniform Choice on eBay right now. I employ all of you clever cats that only bought this reissue to try and trick some poor lad and make a quick buck. Please don’t.
